Energy-Absorbing Dorsal Extension
Safety Direct’s Energy-Absorbing D-ring Extender, also known as shock-absorbing extension lanyard, attaches to the back D-ring of a harness lengthening the tie-off point allowing an easy and safe connection which also provides an energy-absorbing component for a restraint lanyard that is shorter than 52 inches. When calculating free fall and fall clearance distances, it is important to include the fully extended length of the dorsal extension.

Specifications:
- 1 3/4 inch (45 mm) woven polyester webbing with (Minimum tensile strength of 5000 lbs. 23 kN)
- Snap hook and D-ring minimum break load 5000 lbs. (23 kN) and gate rating of 3600 lbs. (16 kN)
- Maximum deployment length is 11.3 ft. (3.5 m)
- Maximum free fall distance CANNOT exceed 6 ft. (1.8 m)
- Maximum capacity including clothing and equipment must be at least 110 Lbs. (50 kg) and not exceed 310 Lbs. (140 kg)

Student Refund
We are pleased to refund 100% of your course fee if you notify us within 2 business days of the training program, failure to do so will result in a 50% refund. There will be no refunds for those who are no-shows. People who have yet to pay will then be invoiced 100% of the program cost.
